Call it synchronicity, or luck, or having a great friend. Check out the card I got in the mail yesterday.

I love getting any kind of non-financial, non-advertisement mail to begin with. But when you open the envelope and find this, you know it's something special. People. This is hotness. I had given up on ever getting my hands on this gem, as I learned too late about The Sun's hot Turin skier feature.

It's even better than getting a copy of The Sun because, as Steve so aptly pointed out, "You can even wipe the drool from the glossy paper." Glossy or not, I've never felt such love for a sheet of paper in my life.

I don't actually know who this guy is, although I suspect he's the U.S. skier, Bode Miller. (I wonder if that's pronounced bode, ie. not boding well, or body. Body would obviously be more fitting. Like Jesse "The Body" Ventura. But it's probably not.) I'm not only saying this because of the card but... I've always thought that in another lifetime, I'd be a professional skier so I could be stuck in the mountains with these guys all winter during training season.

I can't think of anything I'd rather do.

Darn. I really need to find out who he is now!

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed about his name. BO-dee? Like Cody but with a B? Not even Bod, or Bawdy?

Sigh... I didn't even know they made men like that anymore. Suddenly feeling very hopeful.
